​Welcome to Bridgeport Municipalities, Citizen!  We are here to make your life within the City as safe and prosperous as possible.  This is the Bridgeport way!  While we understand there are many rumors and concerns of Dark throughout the city, that clean-up and containment are our top priority!  The City of Bridgeport does run a tight ship when it comes to sticking to one’s mandated obligations.  There is no such thing as too much red tape for us!

There are three divisions within Municipalities.  They are:

• Bridgeport Emergency Management Services (B.E.M.S), which houses our local police department and fire fighters!  This is the branch that keeps the Peace on the streets and within all residences and businesses in the city.

• The City Works (CW), which is all City Hall and City functions.  This is the branch that keeps up with the maintenance, events, and day to day activities of the city.

• The Medical Center (MC), which is the health department and all its ancillary areas. This is the branch that keeps watch over and maintains the health of the populace.

Because there are three divisions of the Municipalities, depending on the group you go to, will change the rules one follows.  When you are hired for a position in the municipalities, please adhere to the business handbook as given to you by your senior officer.  If you have none, and are merely a dear citizen, fear not!  You are to follow all laws of the city as written.

• Bridgeport Emergency Management Services. 
  The Emergency Management Department encompasses a dual roll of Peace Officer and Fire Fighter.  Every BEMS Officer is trained in the detainment of criminal elements as well as to respond to other emergencies around the city.  Their first mission is to prevent loss of life, and the second is to maintain the Rule of Law within the City Limits.  On the Isle of Purgatory however, the BEMS has no official authority.
  
  Rank and Chain of Command for B.E.M.S are as follows:
