In 2077, the world looks much different from the one you may remember. Megacorporations control the world, entire government structures have fallen, and the people rely on tech to survive in the world. It is uncommon to find those who do not have any Cyberware or technology on their person at all. Even in this age, stories of the Supernatural manage to haunt whispers in bars and some even make it to the screamsheets in local news stands.

Night City was not the only City affected by the Corporate Wars, and every person has a story to tell about where they were, what they were doing, and even what they saw during that time. In the Aftermath of those wars, much of the world is still recovering from the devastation wrought by the Corporations, and others from something darker.

The pages you will read are specific to Crescent City, formerly called New Orleans. This does not mean that the events of the world are ignored, they simply did not reach New Orleans specifically unless mentioned.
