In Requiem by Night, there are Seven types of Vampire Subtypes, known as Lineages.  Each Lineage receives the full benefits of their Vampiric blood, but have also developed powers unique to themselves.  The histories of the Lineages are as varied as those who carry the strain, but no less are they part of the whole.
