In Requiem by Night, there are Seven types of Vampire Subtypes, known as Lineages. Each Lineage receives the full benefits of their Vampiric blood, but have also developed powers unique to themselves. The histories of the Lineages are as varied as those who carry the strain, but no less are they part of the whole. Those Lineages that are playable are listed below.

Strigoi : The Strigoi are death incarnate—walking corpses that have crossed the threshold between life and oblivion and returned as something altogether more terrible. Their flesh bears the unmistakable marks of the grave: pale, mottled skin stretched tight over bone, eyes like chips of winter ice, and an aura of bitter cold that follows in their wake.
