Humans inherently have no magic, but they are of the natural world.  As this is their way, the human has the possibility of reaching out to that of the natural world in order to aid or, in some cases, harm that world.  Regardless of what they do for that power, it is part of human nature to desire to be better than they were.  In this desire, the Sorcerer was born.  Sorcerers are humans that have made spiritual contracts, or bonds, to an incorporeal energy or entity to gain the magical ability to be more than human.Given this otherworldly means of magical attainment, Mundanes fear and shun the Sorcerer when they are known publicly.  Because of this, it is not in the Sorcerers best interest to admit they have a bond, but many will admit to be normal religious practitioners of various styles and choose to hide in plain sight.

 

While there is no unified marker to distinguish a sorcerer from a regular human, there are physical cues.  All Sorcerers have one physical attribute that is considered unusual.  They have red eyes no matter what type of contact they use, for example.  Their hair will forever grow in an ombre despite the dye and bleach used on it. They will have a strange scar or birthmark on their body that no tattoo or makeup can hide. Whatever the case is, this physical signifier is the mark of the Bond that was made and will never go away until that bond is removed.  Like Mundanes, they live until approx. 100 years of age. All Sorcerers must be able to understand and communicate in English In Character.
